For Paul Jackson designing and building gardens started out as a hobby over 25 years ago. Having finished building a new house on a half-acre building plot in Norfolk the next step was to work out what to do with the garden! Years of designing and building gardens for friends and family followed whilst building a career as a financial advisor until the decision was made to turn the hobby into a profession. He then trained at Kingston Maurward College and studied with the Institute of Garden Design, becoming an Approved Designer.
A few years ago, Paul entered the "A Garden for Eden" Garden Design Competition on ITV . He won through 2 preliminary rounds to reach the televised final in Torquay. The 4 finalists had to design a garden, which they then had to build over a 3-day period. Unfortunately Paul didn't win although the experience proved invaluable. Presenter Melinda Messenger is shown in Paul's completed garden.
Paul is able to offer a full "design to completion" service as he builds all gardens himself. He has two full time employees and various specialist contractors on hand when required. No need, then for the designer to act as middleman between customer and contractor.
We are proud to be an approved designer Institute of Garden Design
